Anthony Eaton has spent 48 years in the practice and teaching of law. In addition, Prof. Eaton has received degrees in law and business from institutions in England, the US and Italy, with honorary degrees granted by institutions in the Republic of Ireland and the United States of America.

Prof. Eaton also founded InLaw, an international law alliance, in 1961, and he remains with the firm as a partner. InLaw converted to a Limited Liability Partnership in 2003, and today specialises in the provision of locally qualified practitioners in most jurisdictions covering the fields of international corporate and commercial law for clients in other jurisdictions, coordinating case management and supervising the activities of locally appointed advocates on behalf of clients and their local legal advisers.

Specialising in contract, trust, commercial and company/corporate law including the structuring of multinational corporate bodies in the most tax-advantaged jurisdictions with the utilisation of foundations and trust structures, considerable savings have been made by clients particularly in the emergent and developing economies.

He is currently acting as adviser to a commercial group dealing with two major trading nations in the provision of natural gas and crude oil and refinery facilities, and to a major property development on the North African coast.
